Arts centre BUDA is a workspace for artists, a festival organizer and an art cinema
WORKSPACE
Arts centre BUDA welcomes about 40 artists or collectives on a yearly basis. They come to live and work temporarily in Kortrijk. They have at their disposal studios in Buda-tower, two technically equipped theatre halls, a team of technicians and a boarding house to stay overnight.
FESTIVAL ORGANIZER
The residential artists present their work to a bigger crowd throughout six festivals: four times fresh (spring), Kortrijk Congé (mid July) and the international arts festival NEXT (nov-dec).
ART CINEMA
Arts centre BUDA presents at least three ?lms a day in Budascoop. Besides that, they organize film projects on a regular basis. The program offers an alternative for the rather commercial film elsewhere.

De Kreun recently celebrated its 25th anniversary and is now elaborating its biggest project ever: a brand new concert hall which brings along new ambitions for the future. De Kreun focuses on modernization in the alternative pop and jazz scene with 25 club shows and 5 festivals yearly.
The Sonic City festival - where a curator yearly sheds a different light on the diverse music scene - is only the tip of the iceberg. Supporting the regional music scene is a big item as well. This regional activity is given a more international character with the European interreg project 4x4 . 4x4 is a cross-border project with 4 different music clubs in the regions of West Flanders and the North of France.

Cultuurcentrum Kortrijk, ontmoetingsplaats voor cultuur
Cultuurcentrum Kortrijk is één van de aantrekkelijkste cultuurhuizen in Zuid-West-Vlaanderen. Een divers publiek vindt er zijn gading in een al even gevarieerd aanbod: van bekend tot avontuurlijk, van puur amusement tot meer bedachtzaam, van Vlaams tot internationaal, voor jong en oud. Humor. NEXT… Cultuurcentrum Kortrijk laat zich niet in een hokje steken of in één woord vatten. Veelzijdigheid, dynamiek en een rijk palet van voorstellingen, artiesten en projecten sieren het huis. Voor elk wat wils: van speels en avontuurlijk tot bedachtzaam en beklijvend.
Naast een ijzersterke programmering, zet ck* via specifieke projecten zijn regionale profilering klem bij en kunnen uiteenlopende publieken warm gemaakt worden voor cultuur.
Muziekcentrum Track
Muziekcentrum Track verdient in het ck* verhaal een aparte vermelding. Met het voormalige radio2-gebouw gelegen naast de concertstudio en het nagelnieuwe kreungebouw, profileert Track zich op het vlak van muziek als katalysator voor de regio. Initiatieven als Arte Libre en de Jazz Jams bieden een podium en stimuleren ontmoeting en muzikale kruisbestuiving. Met een doordacht beleid rond artist-in-residence wordt dit nog gemaximaliseerd. Een aantal grote namen uit de Vlaamse muziekwereld voelt alvast deze nieuwe dynamiek: Gabriel Rios en Jef Neve, Lalalover, Anima Eterna, Orchestre International du Vetex, Hitch, Amatorski, …
Deze exclusiviteit wordt versterkt door de unieke infrastructuur: de grandeur van de bonbonnière zaal van de Kortrijkse Schouwburg, de pasvernieuwde Concertstudio met zijn uitmuntende akoestiek of de initimiteit van het Arenatheater
