Kortrijk Xpo is centrally located in Europe, smack dab in the middle of the triangle made up of London, Amsterdam and Paris. Xpo is easily reached by car (just off exit 2 on the E 19 motorway), public transport (frequent train- & bus connections from Kortrijk Central Railway Station to Kortrijk Xpo) as well as by airplane (Wevelgem airfield).

The major strong suit of Kortrijk Xpo is that its exhibition and salon grounds make up a highly professional environment, offering customer-friendly service with the customer at all times taking centre stage. With its 38,000 m˛, Kortrijk Xpo may be comparatively small but it is big on everything else !

The 4-star Meeting Center offers the most modern meeting and assembly facilities for the business community in the whole of South West Flanders and far beyond. With its 11 room combinations and a wide range of every conceivable latest technology audio-video equipment, excellent acoustics, daylight and air-conditioning, Kortrijk Xpo Meeting Center is the perfect location to stage congresses and seminars. Product launches, fashion shows, staff parties and banquets are certain to revel in the exclusive setting.
Kortrijk Xpo Meeting Center has a prestigious access complex at the foot of the tower of the halls and the expansive water surface. An ingenious automatic twin-door takes your guests into a delightful lobby which grants access to the various room combinations.
The Meeting Center has three bars: “’t Ketelke” located next to the lobby, a second bar in the spacious Stoutenberg room and “het Schaak” adjacent to the Roeland rooms. In 2001, the rooms were further expanded with Kortrijk Xpo Meeting Center Bis. A stylish Pavilion, offering leather management chairs, was a blistering success from the very start. Not only for its board rooms but also for more intimate private parties, the Pavilion is much in demand.

1966-1979 (founding chairman)
Van Marcke Jean 1979-1992 (honorary chairman)

The business was led continuously from its foundation in 1967 to the end of 2005 by general manager Yvon Vanden Abeele. Under his leadership, the then Kortrijk Halls (Hallen Kortrijk) expanded from 1 hall and 8,000m² to the present complex of 6 expo halls and 38,000m² of trade fair surface area and over 40 exhibitions and events each year. Yvon Vanden Abeele has also ensured that this enterprise has always maintained a place in the top 3 Belgian trade fair complexes. Since he retired, he has given the advisory council and the management committee the benefit of his vast experience. On 1 January 2006, he was succeeded by Saskia Soete De Boosere, who, after her studies at Leuven University, started work in November 1989 as junior exhibition manager.
